Warehouse Operatives (Nights) – Near Cockermouth

We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client, a leading fresh food and drink wholesaler based near Cockermouth, who is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their night shift team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
• Loading delivery vans ready for dispatch
• Working across a range of temperature-controlled environments
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
• Supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse during night shifts

Shift Pattern

• Start time: 6:00pm
• Finish time: Typically between 4:00am and 5:00am
• Working 5–6 nights per week
• Sunday to Friday
• Saturdays closed

Pay & Benefits

• £14.48 per hour
• Two paid 15-minute breaks per shift
• One 30-minute unpaid break

Requirements

• Ability to work night shifts on a regular basis
• Full driving licence and own transport essential due to the location
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
