Due to an increase in demand, our client urgently requires experienced Customer Service / Contact Centre Advisors to work for this Customer Service Assignment on a temporary, ongoing basis but with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidates.
Customer Service Advisors to be based in a call centre at Doxford Park, Sunderland.
You will be taking inbound calls and dealing with customer queries through various channels such as telephony and online services.
The right candidates would need to:
- Be resilient
- Be friendly and polite
- Have excellent computer skills
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be comfortable with high volumes of calls
- Have previous Call Centre/Customer Service experience preferred but not essential
There will be 2 weeks of initial training (no annual leave to be considered within this period).
Hours of work will be based around a rota that will be provided 4 weeks in advance – any outside appointments must be worked around the shift pattern.
Hours of work:
7am – 8pm Monday to Friday and extended opening hours 8am – 4pm Saturday and 9am – 4pm Sunday. Hours will be based on a 34-hour working week. Overtime will be paid over 34 hrs.

Pay rates:First 12 weeks –
Weekday - £9.20
Weekday overtime - £10.20
Sat/Sun/BH - £11.20 After 12 weeks –
Weekday - £11.42
Weekday overtime - £14.65
Saturday day - £11.42
Saturday overtime - £14.65
Sunday - £18.09
Bank Holiday - £30.20
Security vetting would also be required for this position which will be discussed at interview stage.
