We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant/Business Development Executive within the Carlisle area.
This organisation is currently delivering a wide range of apprenticeships to companies within the North West and Cumbria.

This is an office-based position within the Carlisle area.
Main duties of the Business Development Executive/Employer Engagement Officer will include:
Employer Engagement with internal and external partners
Identify and negotiate new partners through effective Business Development techniques
Attending appointments to discuss how apprenticeship schemes work, benefits, costs, Digital Apprenticeship Service(DAS) and sign up process
Selling a wide range of Apprenticeship programs to external clients. The Apprenticeship Programmes include Business Services, Customer Services, Team Leading, and Employability
Working to set sales targets in the form of apprenticeship starts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Develop a trusted adviser relationship with new accounts, customer, and stakeholders
Working to set targets/KPI's to achieve maximum revenue growth and retention
Ensure effective communication between sales and operations
Provide regular progress reports so that clients can see how their apprentices are progressing.
Supporting the engagement and recruitment of suitable candidates which will include writing adverts, shortlisting and supporting the candidates with interview advice
To keep up to date on funding changes and rules to ensure that clients are kept up to date with things that may impact their apprenticeship programs.

Skills and Experience Required for the position of Employer Engagement/ Business Development Executive

Previous experience working within Recruitment, Business Development/Employer Engagement
Proven track record of selling Apprenticeship or Recruitment Programmes would be highly desirable
Demonstrates evidence of exceeding sales targets through cold calling, lead generation, and new Business Development
Up to date knowledge of Social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc
Flexibility to travel through the North West to attend client meetings
Target/Sales focused who can work on own initiative
Experience of preparing and presenting to Senior Management
Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicle
