This engineering company are going from strength to strength with orders coming in from both repeat business and new clients which strengthens the need for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join their already established team.
Your main duties will be to manage the customer journey from order processing, manufacture and delivery, ensuring the customer is kept up to speed with the progress of their order. You will also be responsible for managing any order discrepancies or delivery delays, minimising customer disruption and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Due to the nature of the business, it is essential that you are technically adapt and have the ability to quickly learn the products and manufacturing process. Full training will be provided, however it would be an advantage to have either worked in an engineering capacity or have experience working in in a similar role in a technical company.
The ideal candidate will be able to implement procedures, streamline the order taking process and create customer Service Level Agreements to formulate best practice.
In return you will be given the opportunity to quickly progress into an internal sales position where 75% of business comes from repeat business, maximising sales opportunities with current and prospective customers.
The use of Marketing techniques would also be advantageous.
