This position is being advertised on behalf of Riverside Recruitment UK Ltd who operates as an employment business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who is looking for a Compliance & Employee Relations Manager to join their busy and expanding team based North of Carlisle.

This role will be working for a well-established and expanding company that supplies products nationwide with both large and small contracts.

This is a crucial role for the business and they’re looking for someone who has adaptable skills and experience in people management.

The typical responsibilities for the successful candidate would be:

-Recruitment

-Employee Relations

-Payroll

-Work Benefits & Training

However they’re also looking for someone who can take charge of other aspects of the business to help with the expansion, these tasks will include:

-Employee Orientation

-Amending/Rewriting Policies

-Disciplinary Procedures

-Training for both office & yard staff

As well as the above another key role would be looking into and arranging workshops for the company’s HGV drivers; workshops will be on Fleet Management, Road Risk, Fitness, Measuring Road Fleet Performance & Development. Knowledge in this sector isn’t essential but would be desirable as it is a big part of the business & training requirements.

Days of work will be Monday – Friday (office hours)

Due to where the office & site is based the successful applicant would need their own car.
