An exciting and fast paced supervisor role for a nationally renowned charity based from their temporary site near Carlisle city centre. Working from a large and modern purpose built canteen, you will lead a team of 6 assistants during the summer months May to July.
For this job your duty will be manage and supervise the staff who will be serving customers pre packed food/drinks, cash handling, making hot drinks, table service, cleaning, basic heating up of food and other ad hoc duties relating to the canteen operation. It will also be your role to lead by example and participate in all these duties alongside your team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, at least 1 years’ experience within a customer service environment and ideally will have supervised or managed staff in a previous role. Must have requirements include a food hygiene qualification.
The hours are working 4 days on and then 4 days off rotating 9AM-6PM (please note this includes working weekends). Pay is £10.50 per hour (Monday-Friday) and £13.12 per hour (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays). Please note this position is for 8 weeks only, working from 17st May till 8th July.
