Are you looking for a job which offers on-the-job training and the chance to grow within a blue chip company?

We're looking for a Transport Office Trainee in the Kirkby Thore area to work for an industry-leading logistics company.

Ideally you will be a proactive, confident and motivated individual to support in the running of busy transport office, learning and building your knowledge of the transport industry.

Prior experience is not required for this role however applicants must have good written and verbal skills and experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook.

You will be required to carry out various tasks to meet office demands and in return will be provided with a fantastic opportunity to learn and progress within a well-established company. Your duties can vary from day to day with no two days being the same however general responsibilities will involve payroll duties and briefing drivers, and supporting in the running of busy transport office, learning and building your knowledge of the transport industry.

This is initially a temporary contract with permanent employment offered to suitable candidates.

Due to the location of the role and variety in shift patterns it is advisable that you have your own transport.

The standard working hours for this position is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday as shifts can vary to meet the company demands.
