Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer
Riverside Recruitment are looking to hire a Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client based in the Penrith area.
You will be working within the shift team dealing with breakdowns, repairs and general maintenance of machines across the site. You will be involved with projects, building and installing machines and will be required to maintain the site utilities.
You will be working a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekend work over an average of 39 hours per week. The payrate for this position will vary depending on your shift pattern which will be set by the company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
You and your team will be responsible for ensuring the plant runs efficiently, without any production downtime, finding and diagnosing faults quickly and efficiently. You will be involved in basic fabrication of projects including welding and cutting, as well as maintenance of saws, motors, gearboxes, conveyers and roll systems. As a part of this role you will also be responsible for filling in job sheets and risk assessments.
