We’re looking for a Project Co-ordinator to work on behalf of our client, a furniture centre based on the outskirts of Carlisle.
In this role, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and planning of work schedules and training. In addition, you will be involved in the management of stock, liaising directly with the logistics and sales team, and identifying items to promote publicly on social media. A key part of this role will be to ensure sales targets are met and acting as a first point of contact for customers.
You will also be responsible for project planning and general administration duties such as managing email communications and data processing so you will need to have a good understanding of IT systems and you will be responsible for processing invoices and taking cash and card payments.
You may on occasion be required to drive the company vans so a full driving licence is essential and you will be required to plan your own routes so should have a good knowledge of the Carlisle area. You will be assisting with the manual loading and unloading of furniture into vehicles and arranging the warehouse so you will need to be physically fit.
The pay rate for this role is £9.30 per hour.
This is initially a temporary position with the prospect of permanent employment for the right candidate. Your standard days of work will be Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month.
