Are you an experienced Sous Chef looking to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an experienced Chef to work in a busy country house hotel and wedding venue in the heart of the Lake District.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of your own shifts whilst standing in for the head chef in their absence.
You will be tasked with working on breakfast, lunch and dinner service whilst servicing weddings and functions within this well-established hotel. The menu consists of typical English Pub Dishes, Sunday Roasts, Afternoon Teas and Buffets all created with locally sourced produce.
The successful candidate will be mindful of all health & safety, food hygiene, COSHH and manual handling as well as staff development.
Based in Cockermouth, accommodation can be provided for this position for up to 12 weeks.
Due to the location, it is preferred that you have your own transport.
Working Hours: Full Time (5 days over 7).
Salary: Salary will be dependent on experience and can be paid as an hourly rate or annual salary.
