We are working on behalf of our client, based on the outskirts of Carlisle, who are looking to appoint a Commis Chef to support the 2nd Chef and Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of locally sourced Cumbrian dishes.
A background working in a kitchen environment is key and you will need to have proven catering experience as chef or cook.
Offering Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service, you can expect to work Wednesday through to Sunday between the hours of 9.00am - 10.00pm for 40 hours per week.
There are some exciting expansion plans underway at this stylish venue which will increase the Weddings and Events offering, with confirmed bookings already gained for next year. It is within this new venue where you will have the flexibility to grow and develop your own team whilst having the opportunity to work with customers to produce menus specifically for their day.
Due to the location, it is essential you have your own transport.
Salary will be dependent on experience and can be paid as an hourly rate or annual salary.
